A retired military
officer with over 27 years experience in the Communication Electronics Branch having the
rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.
Served in progressively responsible positions in NATO, UN, Canadian and US military units.
Commanded communications units in the Middle-East and Canada, planned and implemented
security communications systems to the Olympic Games and for other major projects.
Directed the requirements analysis for a $1 billion military command and control
communications procurement project. Represented Canadian military and commercial interests
in a diplomatic position with the US Army Communication Electronics Research and
Development Command. Since retirement has served as a consultant for both military and
human resource management projects.
Since retirement from the military in 1987 has acted in a consultant capacity for
communications - electronics projects, command and control studies and human resource
management projects. He has founded two companies, been a founding member, Secretary and
President of the Cumberland Chamber of Commerce, and acted as an advisor to over 40 small
businesses in the Ottawa-Carleton region.
