Lorraine has 12 years
experience as a human resources practitioner in a wide variety of programs within the
public and private sector. She has managed a variety of human resource projects and
activities including: job analysis and competency profiling projects; the development and
implementation of systems for selection, performance management, career planning; large
scale employee surveys; the development and implementation of assessment centre programs;
and, career development programs.
In the area of
selection, she has been responsible for the development and selection of assessment tools
and methods to select employees for employment and career development programs. She has
served as a consultant in selecting senior level employees for strategic career paths
within public sectors. In the area of organizational development, Lorraine has conducted
organizational climate reviews including climate surveys and focus group sessions to
identify organizational needs. More recently, Lorraine has been involved in developing
competency-based human resource management programs and tools such as self-assessment and
multi-rater feedback systems, competency-based interviewing, competency-based human
resource planning and development, and job evaluation systems.
