Change management is a formal process to plan for and manage the transition of the organization from its current state to a new, desired state. An effective change management strategy is the key to successfully implementing major change into organizations.  In addition to analyzing and integrating communication and training, change management encompasses the assessment of organizational and job impact, and the implementation of measures to address and quantify those impacts.
